Strengthening Employment Capabilities Through Policy Guidance

Gwangju Employment Welfare Plus Center (Director Ko Byung-gon) announced on the 28th that it has signed a "Support Agreement for Self-Reliance Preparation Youth" with eight organizations, including Dong-gu in Gwangju, to support the successful independence of local self-reliance preparation youth.
Through this agreement, the eight organizations have agreed to join forces so that self-reliance preparation youth can conveniently receive employment support services anytime and anywhere, enabling them to achieve successful independence.
The participating organizations will systematically provide close-care services tailored to the needs of youth in various areas, including guidance on youth policies, strengthening employment capabilities, customized employment support, mentoring and emotional support, and sponsorship of daily necessities. In addition, to help self-reliance preparation youth quickly succeed in finding employment, a dedicated counselor will be assigned to provide one-on-one, customized employment support services.
During the job-seeking period, those who participate in the National Employment Support Program will receive a monthly job-seeking allowance of 500,000 to 900,000 KRW for six months to help them conduct job searches stably.
Ko Byung-gon, Director of Gwangju Employment Welfare Plus Center, said, "We will do our utmost to serve as a strong support for self-reliance preparation youth to pursue their dreams by actively providing customized employment support services so that they can quickly find employment."
