Earned Income Incentive Provided for Monthly Savings of 100,000 KRW or More
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting subscribers for the 'Hope Savings Account I·II' to support the self-reliance of low-income families and help them accumulate a lump sum of money.
'Hope Savings Account I' is available to households receiving basic living security benefits for livelihood and medical care, whose total household earned income from work or business is at least 60% of 40% of the median income standard. If they save at least 100,000 KRW monthly for three years, they will receive a monthly earned income incentive of 300,000 KRW. Upon maturity, they will receive up to 14,400,000 KRW plus interest, including their own savings of 3,600,000 KRW.
'Hope Savings Account II' is available to households receiving housing and education benefits with an income recognition amount at or below 50% of the median income standard, as well as other near-poverty households. If they save at least 100,000 KRW monthly for three years, they will receive a monthly earned income incentive of 100,000 KRW. Upon maturity, they will receive up to 7,200,000 KRW plus interest, including their own savings of 3,600,000 KRW.
Applicants wishing to enroll should prepare their ID and proof of work and income, and apply in person at the administrative welfare center in their local eup, myeon, or dong.
