Toss Bank Check Card Expands Offline Cashback Benefits

Toss Bank announced on the 28th that it will implement Switch Cashback Season 4 starting from the 1st of next month. This season, the bank plans to expand its offline cashback affiliates.


The coverage will expand from the existing 6 categories to 7 categories (convenience stores, food, beverages, marts, department stores, bookstores, public transportation, instant photo studios, and movie theaters), offering cashback at 32 brands. Large marts, Daiso, and budget coffee brands have been added. Instant photo studios (Insaengnecut, Photoism, Harufilm, etc.) and bookstores (Kyobo Bookstore, Youngpoong Bookstore), favored by the 2030 generation who make up more than half of Toss Bank check card users, are also included.


For marts, E-Mart, Lotte Mart, and GS The Fresh have been added, and for department stores, Shinsegae, Hyundai, and Lotte have been included. The existing coffee & dessert category has been expanded to include Mega MGC Coffee, Comfort Coffee, and Salady.


Choosing offline cashback allows users to receive up to 35,000 KRW cashback per month. A cashback of 500 KRW is provided for payments over 10,000 KRW. Cashback can be earned once per day per category, up to 10 times per month across the 7 categories.

Meanwhile, online, anywhere, and donation cashback options will also be maintained. Customers using online cashback frequently utilize simple payment and delivery services. The anywhere cashback provides benefits immediately upon payment regardless of brand or location. Donation cashback donates the cashback amount to the Animal Freedom Union instead of giving it back to the user. Donation tax credits can also be claimed during year-end tax settlements.


A distinctive feature is that cashback benefits can be changed on a daily basis. Users can select their desired cashback type (offline, online, anywhere, donation) each day as needed. The benefits for this Season 4 are valid until August 31.
