The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct eligibility inspections on 99 existing Good Price Businesses until March 27. Depending on the inspection results, Suwon City plans to take measures such as re-designation or cancellation of designation.
Separately, Suwon City will accept new applications for Good Price Businesses until December.
Good Price Businesses are establishments that offer services at prices lower than the regional average, and excel in cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and service.

Suwon City provides designated Good Price Businesses with certification plaques, customized necessary supplies for each business, volume-based waste bags (worth about 35,000 KRW), and disinfection and quarantine services. Additionally, among Good Price Businesses, those affiliated with local currency stores receive support for card payment fees, and extra points are awarded when selecting recipients for small business management environment improvement support projects.
At the end of the year, the city also selects and awards plaques to the "Excellent Good Price Businesses of the Year."
A Suwon City official stated, "We will expand promotional channels and strengthen practical support to further activate Good Price Businesses that contribute to price stabilization. We will continuously discover Good Price Businesses to provide high-quality services to citizens and tourists."
