BNK Some Women's Basketball Team to Clash with Samsung Life in Playoffs Starting March 3

Finished Regular Season in Second Place, Officially Begin the Challenge for First Championship
'Uniform Day' for Home Fans, First 500 Attendees at Game 1 and 2 Home Matches

Busan BNK Sum Women's Professional Basketball Team will officially enter the postseason starting with the first game of the playoffs against Samsung Life at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium at 2 PM on March 3.

BNK Sum emerged as a strong championship contender by leading the first half of the season with a 12-3 record, but due to injuries to key players (Park Hye-jin, Lee So-hee) in the second half, they finished with a final record of 19-11 and advanced to the playoffs as the second seed in the regular season.

In this playoff, BNK Sum will face the third-seeded Samsung Life in a best-of-five series. Games 1, 3, and 5 will be held at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium, while games 2 and 4 will take place in Yongin. The winner of this series will compete against the winner between the first-seeded Woori Bank and fourth-seeded KB Stars in the championship finals (best-of-five) starting March 16.

Postseason Schedule.

A team official stated, “With the recent return of injured players, we have regained our previous strength and will demonstrate overwhelming performance in the postseason as we challenge for our first-ever championship since the club’s founding.”

To celebrate the playoffs, BNK Sum will hold a special event called ‘Uniform Day’ for home fans. On March 3 for the first game and March 5 for the second home game, the first 500 spectators will receive player uniforms for free. Additionally, various prizes including a premium Styler will be offered to heat up the playoff atmosphere with the fans.

Basketball fans wishing to attend can purchase tickets in advance through the Ticketlink application or buy tickets on-site starting 1 hour and 30 minutes before the game begins.
