Research and Experience Analysis Platform 'DataSpace'
ACV Nearly Doubles Compared to Previous Year
Open Survey's B2B platform 'DataSpace' announced on the 27th that its Annual Contract Value (ACV) for 2024 is expected to grow by 97.9% compared to the previous year.
DataSpace is a research and experience analysis platform that helps companies improve their products, services, and business based on their customers' or users' experiences. It provides survey editing, data collection, real-time analysis, and visualization features to support corporate decision-making. As a subscription-based B2B SaaS (Software as a Service for enterprises), it enables companies to easily collect customer data and analyze and manage customer experiences. Leading market companies such as Starbucks, SK Magic, and Yuhan-Kimberly are among its clients.
According to Open Survey, as of the end of last year, DataSpace's total ACV increased by 97.9% compared to the previous year, nearly doubling. Notably, the average ACV of new customers was more than 125% higher than the overall ACV. This indicates a growing number of companies aiming to derive in-depth insights through data analysis and strategically utilize them. Additionally, the average ACV of existing customers grew by 25.6% compared to the previous year, demonstrating continued expansion of corporate investment in data utilization.
Looking at customer distribution by industry, consumer goods manufacturing accounted for about 25%, the highest proportion. IT, software, and telecommunications, followed by retail and hotel industries, came next. There is a strong trend of companies internalizing data utilization tasks that were previously outsourced to external agencies, which can also be interpreted as a strategy for faster and more effective customer experience improvement.
Hwang Hee-young, CEO of Open Survey, stated, "The growth of DataSpace in 2024 shows that companies are actively expanding investments in strengthening data utilization capabilities and optimizing customer experience." He added, "As corporate data utilization needs become more sophisticated, this year we plan to focus on creating an intuitive yet advanced platform based on AI technology to achieve continuous growth."
