101 Sites Selected for First Round of Small-Scale Inconvenience Relief Projects This Year
On the 27th, Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that it has selected 101 sites for the first round of small-scale inconvenience relief projects through its Eup, Myeon, and Dong Administrative Welfare Centers, and will invest a total project budget of approximately 470 million KRW.
The small-scale inconvenience relief project aims to improve the convenience of many citizens by repairing village roads, maintaining areas around farmland, and addressing accident-prone locations.
The city selected sites where the total project budget per site is less than 5 million KRW and where public convenience can be significantly improved.
Sites intended for individual benefit or with a project budget exceeding 5 million KRW were excluded from selection.
This year, the city plans to invest 1.7 billion KRW to resolve a total of 340 cases of small-scale inconveniences.
Mayor Lee Wan-seop stated, "We will do our utmost to swiftly implement small-scale inconvenience relief projects that enhance the convenience of citizens' daily lives," and added, "We will continue to do our best to develop and promote policies that citizens can truly feel."
