Ulju-gun, Drone Show Korea 'Ulju Exhibition Hall' Gains Popularity

Positive Response to Integrated Drone Control Vehicle, Drone Station, and Delivery Drones

Ulju-gun, Ulsan, announced that it is operating the Ulju Exhibition Hall at 'DSK 2025 (Drone Show Korea)' held at BEXCO in Busan until the 28th, attracting great attention from visitors.

DSK 2025 is Korea's representative drone specialized exhibition and conference, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with the largest scale ever, drawing significant interest and attention.

Ulju-gun has participated in the event for three consecutive years from 2023 to this year, operating the Ulju Exhibition Hall to showcase various drone technologies of Ulju-gun, including differentiated drone infrastructure and advanced drone policies.

The main exhibits include an integrated drone control vehicle, drone station, wildfire monitoring drones, and delivery drones. The exhibition also introduced the drone special free zone and drone demonstration city, enhancing the status of Ulju as a drone standard city. Additionally, the upcoming 2nd Ulju Drone Festival scheduled for September is being actively promoted.

In particular, the drone demonstration city project, which started drone delivery last year to major tourist sites in Ulju-gun, continued to attract interest from related companies and local governments. The use of drones for delivery at Ganwoljae, a mountainous tourist site where delivery is difficult, received great response as hikers could enjoy delivery services.

Moreover, the drone special free zone project received favorable evaluations for its safety management aspects using drones, such as an efficient crowd management system utilizing drones in large-scale crowd situations and a drone detection system that detects and prevents illegal drone flights.

Lee Soon-geol, the county governor who participated in the event, said, “Through participation in this Drone Show Korea, Ulju-gun will take the lead in widely promoting the importance and development potential of drone technology,” adding, “We will actively promote projects such as the drone special free zone and drone demonstration city to ensure Ulju-gun becomes the center of the next-generation drone industry and strive for continuous innovation.”
