Certificate Award Ceremony for Aspiring Talents Held by Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation
A Total of 326 Students Supported Since 2014
SK Telecom and the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation supported aspiring talents.
The Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, announced on the 27th that it held the 2025 SKT-Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation Aspiring Talents Certificate Award Ceremony. The SKT and Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation aspiring talents development project is a sponsorship program that selects 10 to 20 students from low-income families nationwide each year and provides scholarships. Since 2014, a total of 326 students have been supported.
SKT and the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation have maintained a sports sponsorship contract since 2010, continuing for 16 years. Beyond the scholarship program, Choi Kyung-Joo participates in the SK Telecom Charity Open, and the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation sponsors the SK Telecom Adaptive Open, a golf tournament for individuals with developmental disabilities, expanding the scope of their cooperation. Additionally, since 2018, SKT has officially supported the New Jersey tournament of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) hosted by the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation, aiding young golf talents in advancing overseas.
Chairman Choi Kyung-Joo encouraged, "I hope aspiring talents believe that the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation always supports them as they strive to achieve their dreams, and that they move forward vigorously." Kim Hee-Seop, head of SKT PR Center, said, "SKT has continued a beautiful partnership with the Choi Kyung-Joo Foundation through scholarship support projects for over 10 years," adding, "We will continue to lead ESG management through sports."
