Seoul City announced on the 27th that it plans to establish a GIS-based 'Integrated Urban Planning Project Platform' and launch the service in the second half of this year.
The Integrated Urban Planning Project Platform is an online service accessible through the Seoul Urban Space Portal. It provides information on the scale and progress stages of 28 urban planning projects across Seoul, including ▲Rapid Integrated Planning ▲Maintenance Projects ▲Station Area Revitalization Projects ▲Reorganization Promotion Projects.
The city initiated the platform development to address the inconvenience of having to individually search through the Seoul Urban Space Portal, Maintenance Project Information Mongttang, and the websites of the city and autonomous districts to check urban planning project information.
Additionally, it is expected to enhance convenience by allowing users to grasp not only existing information such as public notices and decision announcements on the Seoul Urban Space Portal but also the status of urban planning projects of autonomous districts and the city.
Jo Nam-jun, head of the Seoul Urban Space Headquarters, stated, "Through the establishment of the Integrated Urban Planning Project Platform, citizens will be able to more easily check information on urban planning projects in their areas of interest," adding, "We will continue to improve and develop services that citizens need."
