Polaris Office Proposes AI-Driven Work Innovation with Purplexity and Clova Note Integration

Polaris Office is actively advancing productivity enhancement using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. On the 26th, the company announced that it will sequentially roll out updates to four frequently used features in its document application (app) 'Polaris Office' starting from the 28th to improve productivity.

This update adds the following features: ▲ deep information search using AI (Perplexity) ▲ voice-to-text conversion (Clova Note) ▲ AI-powered full document translation (DeepL) ▲ presentation video generation for use in presentations (Heyzen).

In particular, by utilizing information search functions through basic document creation tools such as search and recording within a single application, users are expected to experience significantly improved work efficiency.

A Polaris Office representative explained, “By using voice dictation, Perplexity, and large-scale language models (LLM), tasks such as data research, draft writing, and revision processes can be automated, drastically saving time. Especially, when keywords are extracted through AI search and drafts and revisions are done using LLM, users will be able to produce documents at an expert level.”

Polaris Office plans to maximize users’ work efficiency based on reasonable pricing while setting new standards for AI-based document creation.

Lee Haeseok, Head of Polaris Office Business Division and Group AI Chief AI Officer (CAIO), said, “We maximized user utility by enabling all AI features to be used within the Polaris Office app without the need to subscribe to each feature separately. Moving forward, we will focus on enhancing work productivity tailored to industries and corporate work environments.”

Meanwhile, Polaris Office Group has established an AI Convergence Research Institute centered on Polaris Office, collaborating with various AI companies such as Naver Cloud and LG AI Research Institute. Through affiliates in diverse industries including Polaris Sewon, Polaris Uno, Polaris AI, and Polaris AI Pharma, the group is exploring vertical AI that applies AI across industries and promoting mutual growth within the group.
