"Big Dream Becomes Reality"... Busan City Calls for Service Industry Innovation Idea and Product Companies

'Living Lab Applied Service Idea Demonstration and Commercialization Support Project'

Busan City has launched a project to support companies that possess innovative ideas or products in the service industry sector.


Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) announced that it will recruit companies to participate in the "Living Lab Applied Service Demonstration Commercialization Support Project" from the 26th to March 21st.


This project provides support such as ▲commercialization costs (up to 20 million KRW per company) ▲demonstration through connections with living lab specialized institutions ▲consulting by experts in each field ▲data analysis.


Following last year, the project is being promoted for the second year by the "Service Convergence Research Center" under Busan Technopark.


Selected companies will receive commercialization costs and customized diagnosis and consulting. In addition, through the living lab, citizens, companies, and researchers collaborate to explore and verify innovative solutions in real life, providing opportunities for creative ideas to lead to actual business models.


Companies wishing to participate in the project should fill out the application form posted on the Busan Technopark website and submit it via email from today until 6 p.m. on March 21st. For more details, inquiries can be made through the Busan Technopark website or the Service Convergence Research Center.


Kim Bong-cheol, Director of the Digital Economy Office of Busan City, said, "We are doing our best to discover and foster high value-added service industries," and added, "We hope for interest and participation so that innovative and creative ideas and products can be verified in real life and grow into sustainable business models."
