NH Investment & Securities announced on the 26th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Perplexity to innovate customer experience.
The MOU signing ceremony, held yesterday afternoon at NH Investment & Securities headquarters, was attended by Kang Min-hoon, Head of the Digital Business Division at NH Investment & Securities, and Jun Morita, Vice President and Asia Pacific Representative of Perplexity. Through this agreement, both companies plan to pursue comprehensive collaboration in various areas including ▲AI-based investment information provision ▲support for overseas stock investment ▲personalized financial services. The core focus is to help overseas stock investors make faster and more accurate decisions. Previously, investors had to individually search through multiple media outlets, financial information sites, investment analysis platforms, and communities, but now, by utilizing Perplexity’s AI search technology, they can search scattered information all at once and receive real-time summarized investment information.
NH Investment & Securities plans to sequentially introduce AI-based investment services into its Mobile Trading System (MTS) by leveraging Perplexity’s API (Application Programming Interface). As the first step, it launched the 'Three-line Summary of Stock Issues' service on the 20th, which is currently in operation. This service automatically analyzes and organizes key issues such as major news, earnings announcements, and price fluctuations of U.S. stocks using AI, helping investors intuitively grasp real-time information.
NH Investment & Securities intends to continue offering various services utilizing Perplexity to enable overseas stock investors to easily and quickly check ever-changing market information and make more efficient investment decisions. Kang Min-hoon stated, "We plan to actively utilize Perplexity’s AI technology to provide customized investment information to customers," adding, "We will support overseas stock investors in understanding changing market conditions more quickly and efficiently." Jun Morita, Vice President and Asia Pacific Representative of Perplexity, also said, "The MOU with NH Investment & Securities is meaningful as it is the first MOU with a Korean financial company, and we hope investors who need overseas information will benefit from the diverse information provided through Perplexity." He further added, "We plan to continuously expand collaboration with NH Investment & Securities not only in investment information but also in various other areas."
