‘Youth Housing Achievement Project’ to Launch Next Month
Consulting and Special Lectures Offered Through LH Housing Welfare Information
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) is set to fully implement the '2025 Youth Housing Achievement Project' to ensure housing stability for young people.
The 'Youth Housing Achievement Project' is a program through which the district provides various housing-related information needed by young people. It operates multiple programs ranging from one-on-one customized consulting tailored to household types such as single-person households, newlyweds, and single-parent families, to one-day classes on interior design and organization.

Earlier, the district secured expertise in providing housing information and counseling to young people by signing a business agreement with LH Housing Welfare Information Co., Ltd., the first among basic local governments to do so last month.
To carry out this project, the district first established a dedicated space for 'Youth Housing Achievement' at the Seocho Youth Center. This space is equipped for counseling and information provision, allowing young people to visit anytime to access housing-related information. Materials related to real estate promotions, new sales and rental information, and various real estate data are provided.
Additionally, every Thursday evening, regular online and offline counseling and education sessions are held. On the first and third Thursdays of each month, face-to-face counseling is conducted by appointment, while in-depth online counseling is provided via Zoom on the second Thursday. On the last Thursday of the month, various special lectures that are practically helpful to young people are offered, covering topics such as how to search for real estate, how to read the registry, decorating small homes, and organization skills. These special lectures will begin on Thursday, March 27, the last Thursday of March.
Most notably, the project significantly improves upon previous housing-related counseling and education, which were limited to working hours and local residents. 'Youth Housing Achievement' offers counseling and education during evening hours after work and provides options for participation through both online and offline formats. Furthermore, any young person registered with the Seocho Youth Center can participate regardless of their place of residence.
Mayor Jeon Seong-su stated, "It is meaningful to collaborate with LH Housing Welfare Information to ensure housing stability for young people," adding, "We will continue to strive so that young people can start with housing stability and dream and prepare for the futures they desire."
