Choi Gilsu Invitational Exhibition "I Hope You Were Happy Today as Well"
To Be Held at Sejong Art Gallery from March 4 to 9
Sejong Art Gallery announced on the 26th that it will hold an invitational exhibition by artist Choi Gilsu titled "I Hope You Were Happy Today as Well" from March 4 to 9.
This exhibition is centered on digital painting works featuring the artist's unique warm colors and emotional messages. Choi, who has previously presented works filled with human sensitivity and warm stories, once again captures the preciousness of moments lived like petals scattering, conveying warmth.
One of the exhibited works, "Happy Driving," depicts a journey in search of simple happiness with a warm gaze, set against a backdrop of blooming flower trees under a blue sky and a quiet field. A gallery official explained, "The artist expresses our life's journey and hope through the small car and balloons in the painting," adding, "Choi's works offer comfort and encouragement to viewers."
Choi shared, "I want to share the joy of discovering happiness in small things."
This exhibition will also showcase creative works by students from the Department of Cartoon and Animation at Sejong Cyber University. The exhibition features student works in various genres including illustrations, characters, designs, goods, and AI-created works.
