DreamInsight, First Dividend After Listing... "Efforts to Enhance Shareholder Value Through Differential Dividends"

DreamInsight announced on the 24th that for the 2024 fiscal year dividend, common shareholders will receive a differential dividend of 20 KRW per share, while the largest shareholder will receive 10 KRW per share. This year-end dividend is the first since the company’s listing and is part of strengthening its shareholder return policy.

Differential dividends have the effect of allocating a larger portion of shareholder returns to small or common shareholders. In particular, since DreamInsight’s largest shareholder holds a 60% stake, the differential dividend allowed for an increase in the year-end dividend for common shareholders.

DreamInsight is focusing on securing various new growth engines based on its stable comprehensive advertising agency business. First, it established a subsidiary, LartzX, in May last year to exclusively manage its Creamers (Creative Commerce) business. Additionally, in October of the same year, it launched Unicorn Trophy Entertainment to strengthen expertise in the entertainment business and expand its content intellectual property (IP) business.

A DreamInsight representative said, “This differential dividend decision is the first step toward enhancing shareholder value centered on common shareholders,” adding, “We will actively work to improve corporate and shareholder value through performance improvement by strengthening growth engines and continuously implementing shareholder-prioritized policies.”

Meanwhile, DreamInsight established its first overseas subsidiary in Singapore on the 18th and has begun full-scale entry into the Southeast Asian market. The company plans to develop locally tailored product planning and commerce business, IP business through in-house content production, and digital advertising business centered on the Singapore subsidiary.
