Introducing AI Technologies with Enhanced Security
LG Uplus announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the world's largest mobile telecommunications exhibition, Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC25), and open its first standalone exhibition hall. The large exhibition hall, measuring 792㎡ (approximately 240 pyeong) located at the center of Hall 3 in the main exhibition venue 'Fira Gran Via,' will showcase core AI technologies such as customized artificial intelligence (AI) agents.
The LG Uplus exhibition at MWC25, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain on March 3, will feature enhanced security customized AI agents, AI collaboration cases with various partners, and LG Uplus’s vision for the future of AI. In particular, focusing on ‘security,’ one of the most important values in customers’ AI usage, LG Uplus will unveil AI technologies and solutions that customers can trust and feel safe using.
Specifically, the exhibition will introduce the self-developed telecommunications-specialized AI model ‘ixi-GEN,’ 'PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography)' which provides a secure environment ahead of the quantum computing era, ‘Anti-DeepVoice,’ a technology that distinguishes deepfake voices to prevent voice phishing, the personal AI agent ‘ixi-O’ expanding from mobile to home, AI-based video analysis solution ‘ixi-Vision,’ and ‘AIDC,’ the largest data center in the Seoul metropolitan area.
In particular, a sculpture called ‘ixi Future Vill’ will be placed at the center of the exhibition hall to showcase the future lifestyle transformed by AI technology. Ixi Future Vill is a work depicting the lives of various customers living in future residential spaces. It will portray how future people solve everyday difficulties, communicate with others, and create a sustainable future through LG Uplus’s AI technology, ixi.
Additionally, various services applying LG Uplus’s AI will be introduced, including automatic scheduling and search reservation purchases using ixi-O, content recommendation and real-time subtitle position adjustment using media agents, partner companies’ pain point solutions using enterprise AI solutions, humanoid robots and digital humans equipped with ixi.
Meanwhile, LG Uplus President Hong Beom-sik and key executives will attend MWC25 to explore services and technologies from various companies worldwide and discuss expanding global cooperation with big tech companies in fields such as AI, networks, and platforms.
