A큐온Capital and Savings Banks Deliver 300 Sets of Eco-Friendly Educational Supplies to Seoul Children's Center

12 Types of Eco-Friendly Supplies Provided
Donation of 30 Million KRW Contributed

On the 20th, Accuon Capital and Accuon Savings Bank announced on the 21st that they delivered 300 sets of eco-friendly educational supplies to children at the Seoul Children's Center at the Accuon Capital headquarters in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

About 20 employees from the volunteer teams of Accuon Capital and Accuon Savings Bank participated in the social responsibility activities. The two companies provided 12 types of eco-friendly educational supplies, including paper writing materials and notebooks made from unbleached pulp paper.


The volunteer teams shared the need to establish a cooperative system for child support with the Seoul Metropolitan Social Welfare Council and the Seoul Regional Children's Center Association. They discussed the significance of this activity and pledged to participate in social responsibility activities based on the values of sharing and coexistence.


After the education session, the volunteer teams packaged the educational supplies and wrote handwritten letters, delivering the gifts to about 300 children from low-income families in Seoul through the two organizations.


A donation ceremony for 30 million KRW was also held. The 30 million KRW donation, contributed by the two companies, will be used to fund social responsibility activities.


The two companies are conducting social responsibility activities under three themes: ▲'Accuon Green On' for eco-friendly boiler and light-emitting diode (LED) replacement activities ▲'Accuon Dream On' for supporting treatment costs for pediatric cancer patients and providing educational supplies ▲'Accuon Hope On' for supporting vulnerable households in welfare blind spots and homebound disabled individuals.


Lee Woong-su, Head of Customer Management at Accuon Capital, said, "We will continue to actively promote sustainable educational environments, spread a culture of sharing in local communities, and carry out various social responsibility activities."


Kang Shin-ja, Chairperson of the Social Responsibility Operations Committee at Accuon Savings Bank, stated, "Accuon plans to continue various activities to improve educational conditions for future generations and foster talent."
