Traffic Accident at Airport... Man in His 40s Hit and Killed by International Terminal Ramp Bus

A man in his 40s died after being hit by a passenger transport ramp bus on the aircraft apron inside the airport.

According to Busan Gangseo Police Station on the 21st, at around 6:18 a.m. that day, a ramp bus driven by a man in his 40s made a left turn at the international apron of Gimhae Airport and struck Mr. A (an airport worker) who was walking.

Mr. A was immediately transported to the hospital but died while receiving treatment. The ramp bus driver reportedly did not see Mr. A before driving.

The police stated that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
