The Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has joined hands with policy support-related organizations to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners in the province.
On the 20th, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation held the '2025 Southern Region Support Project Briefing for Resident Success' at the auditorium on the 3rd floor of its headquarters in Gwanggyo, Suwon, with about 250 attendees including officials from six southern region cities and counties such as Gyeonggi Market and Commercial District Promotion Agency, Suwon, Hwaseong, and Pyeongtaek, as well as SMEs and small business owners.
The briefing began with education on 'Labor Knowledge Every Business Owner Must Know' for SMEs and small business owners, followed by introductions to major support projects by Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation and Gyeonggi Market and Commercial District Promotion Agency, and a Q&A session.
Notably, Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Economic and Labor Committee members Kim Jae-gyun (Pyeongtaek 2) and Han Won-chan (Suwon 6) attended, listening to various residents' opinions and actively exchanging views with SMEs and small business owners, adding significance to on-site communication regarding the livelihood economy.
At the briefing, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation announced the ‘3GO+1UP Strategy’ to overcome the triple economic crisis of high exchange rates, high interest rates, and high prices.

Si Seok-jung, Chairman of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, "The livelihood economy crisis is expected to be prolonged," and added, "I express my support and gratitude to the SMEs and small business owners in the province who quietly maintain their businesses despite the difficult circumstances."
He continued, "This support project briefing was an important time to listen to the vivid voices from every corner of Gyeonggi's livelihood economy and to think together," promising, "Going forward, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will establish itself as a pillar of the grassroots economy and a reliable partner of the livelihood economy by continuously communicating, collecting opinions, and innovating internally to help SMEs and small business owners in the province endure this crisis."
Starting with the Southern Region Support Project Briefing, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will continue with the Central Region briefing at Ansan Gyeonggi Technopark on the 26th, the Northern Region briefing at Yangju Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center on the 28th, and the Eastern Region briefing at Seongnam Industrial Promotion Agency on the 7th of next month.
