Boseong County Recruiting CEOs for 'Boseong Gourmet Academy'

60 Gourmet CEOs to Lead Food Culture

Boseong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will be accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis for 60 CEOs for the '2025 Boseong Gastronomy Academy' until the 26th, targeting owners of general and rest restaurants as well as bakeries within the county.


Unlike last year, when the '2025 Boseong Gastronomy Academy' was operated for owners and employees of general restaurants, this year the scope has been expanded to include owners of rest restaurants and bakeries.

This academy aims to raise awareness of the hygiene rating system, lead food culture, strengthen customer service, and improve management mindset. It will commence on March 7 and run until April 16.


The academy will be held at the Boseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center (Boseong region), Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center (Beolgyo region), and the Boseong County Agricultural Technology Center (for practical training), with a total of 11 sessions (each lasting two hours).


The academy, conducted in the Boseong and Beolgyo regions, will include: ▲Customer Service Training ▲Field Trips to Advanced Sites ▲Mind Healing Education ▲Cleanliness Training with the Hygiene Rating System ▲Local Specialty Cooking Practice ▲Online Promotion and Marketing Education.


All owners and employees of general and rest restaurants as well as bakeries within the county can participate free of charge. Participants will receive various support benefits, such as hygiene product support, additional points when selected for facility improvement projects, and advantages when being selected as exemplary restaurants.


Owners wishing to enroll in the academy can fill out an application and submit it in person, by mail, or via email to the Hygiene Management Team of the Culture and Tourism Division at the county office or to the Boseong County Food Service Association branch.


A county official stated, "The '2025 Boseong Gastronomy Academy' aims to increase interest and participation by expanding the target group and operating in both Boseong and Beolgyo regions," adding, "We look forward to the participation of many gourmet CEOs through renowned instructors and in-depth education."
