Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon stated, "I welcome the launch of the 야 5당 원탁회의 (Five Opposition Parties Roundtable Meeting)."

On the 20th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), expressing, "I hope the 야 5당 원탁회의 will develop into a coalition of light that completes the revolution of light," and emphasized, "Although it starts with the five opposition parties, it should also include the Reform New Party that supported impeachment and the conscience forces within the People Power Party."

He continued, "We must embody the people's aspirations who held up their cheering sticks," and added, "I urge agreement on tasks for a new Republic of Korea, such as constitutional amendment, dismantling vested interests, and a major economic transformation."
