Every spring, the Yangjaecheon Culture Festival Move Salon, which unfolds alongside the cherry blossoms that beautifully decorate the Yangjaecheon path, returns once again this year. Move Culture announced that it is recruiting official sponsors for the upcoming ‘2025 Move Salon Season 4’ in April.
Move Salon, now in its fourth year, has been providing a variety of attractions and entertainment timed with the Yangjaecheon Cherry Blossom Festival season.
Last year’s event, ‘2024 Move Salon Season 3: Cherry Blossom Dining,’ drew attention as it was held simultaneously with the Yangjaecheon Cherry Blossom Festival, one of Seoul’s top three cherry blossom festivals, and the Yangjae Art Salon, Seocho-gu’s largest flea market, all set against the backdrop of Yangjaecheon, a premier cherry blossom spot in Korea. Move Salon succeeded in becoming a hot topic not only as Korea’s first preference-based salon festival where participants create content themselves but also as a regional economic revitalization festival where the commercial district, companies, and local governments coexist centered around Yangjaecheon. It attracted more than 160,000 visitors, creating a massive turnout.
Notably, major corporations such as Dongwon F&B, SPC, and Pulmuone Danone participated, achieving significant brand exposure.
According to a survey of brand managers, the event recorded an average of about 60,000 booth visits, 38,000 product samplings, and an average increase of over 115% in SNS followers, demonstrating high customer engagement and eliciting tangible consumer responses beyond simple promotion.
Additionally, with 15 companies participating in local, brand, and experience zones, 86.6% of participating brand managers gave positive feedback, and 94% of spectators and participants praised the event, concluding it as a successful festival.
This year’s theme for ‘2025 Move Salon Season 4’ is ‘Cherry Blossoms & Crafts,’ combining the sentiment of cherry blossoms with creative individuality to offer a unique experience. Brands participating in the festival can provide new customer experiences through various handcrafted workshops linked to their products, including collaborative goods and limited-edition collectibles.
The festival is scheduled for April 5 and 6, coinciding with the cherry blossom blooming season, and is gaining popularity among Gen Z women and participants in their 20s and 30s who prefer a play culture that reflects their own individuality through diverse sensory content blending cherry blossoms and crafts. With over 200,000 visitors annually, thorough attention is given to operation and safety.
For ‘2025 Move Salon Season 4,’ official sponsors will receive various benefits. From booth planning to production and construction, the organizer directly manages the process, supporting differentiated brand experience planning beyond merely providing space. Sponsorship packages are divided into three tiers?Premier, Official, and Festival?offering extensive benefits including booth production, stage events, influencer advertising, and internal and external promotions. To ensure prompt communication and quality enhancement, participation is limited to a maximum of six companies on a first-come, first-served basis, with dedicated personnel assigned to each company.
Inquiries about participation and partnerships can be made via Move Culture’s official phone and email, with individual meetings scheduled for applying companies.
Song Jun-il, CEO of Move Culture, said, “Move Salon started based on the keywords sincerity, togetherness, and vitality. This year, I hope even more people exchange their tastes, creating happy memories and gaining vitality in life. We look forward to active participation from companies and organizations that want to join Move Salon, a communicative festival where participants interact and create together rather than just watch. Alongside the cherry blossoms decorating Yangjaecheon, we will do our best to provide an emotional experience where brands and consumers connect beyond a simple event.”
