"K-Brand Awards" Ceremony Hosted by TV Chosun
Policies such as 10,000-won Rental Housing for Young People and Newlyweds Gain Nationwide Recognition

Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do received the Grand Prize in the "Administrative Innovation City" category at the "K-Brand Awards" ceremony.
The "K-Brand Awards" is an award hosted by TV Chosun and sponsored by government ministries such as the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. The ceremony was held on the 19th at The Plaza Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Hwasun-gun was recognized for being the first in the nation to implement policies such as: 10,000 won rental housing for young people and newlyweds, a multicultural team dedicated to Korean citizens, a village doctor system, the creation of the 87-hole Hwasun Park Golf Course, the placement of team leader-level staff at civil service counters, and the 1,000 won Hwasun-style 24-hour daycare center.
Gu Bokgyu, the mayor of Hwasun-gun, stated, "Innovation leads to further innovation, which in turn changes the world and becomes the driving force that enriches people's lives. I will do my best to make Hwasun-gun the number one place for innovation in Korea."
