Jongno-gu Opens Registration for 'Lifelong Education Programs' Across Neighborhoods

First-Come, First-Served Applications Open on Jongno Education Portal Starting from the 18th

Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) announced on the 18th that it has designated 15 "2025 Jongno-gu Dong Lifelong Learning Centers" to guarantee local lifelong learning rights for residents, and is accepting education applications this year.

This year's designated Dong Lifelong Learning Center institutions include a total of 15 locations in 13 dongs: Cheongunhyoja-dong (Korean Early Childhood Tea Ceremony Research Institute), Sajik-dong (Pulbit Cultural Solidarity), Samcheong-dong (Museum Hanmi), Buam-dong (School of Dance), Pyeongchang-dong (Mamurda), Muak-dong (Tree and Fruit Children's Library), Gahoe-dong (Korean Food Library), Ihwa-dong (Jongno-gu Lifelong Learning Center, Jongno Senior Welfare Center), Hyehwa-dong (Festina Lente), Changsin 2-dong (Jongno Fashion Comprehensive Support Center, Jongno Leisure), Changsin 3-dong (Jongno Comprehensive Social Welfare Center), Sungin 1-dong (Sungin Maru Small Library), and Sungin 2-dong (Yonbospace).


These centers will offer various lifelong education programs until December this year, including aromatherapy, cutting boards, and making picture book character dolls.


The courses are open to Jongno-gu residents, and if there are vacancies, residents from other areas may also apply. Recruitment for March participation will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m. on the 18th of this month via the Jongno Education Portal.
