Busan Office of Education Supports Selection and Utilization of AI Digital Textbooks

Permanent Exhibition for Teachers, Students, and More to Be Held for Two Weeks
AI Digital Textbook Demonstrations and Developer-Specific Presentations

Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Acting Superintendent Choi Yoon-hong) will hold the 'AI Digital Textbook Permanent Exhibition' event for two weeks from the 17th to the 28th at the Busan Education Research and Information Center and the SW·AI Education Hub Center, targeting teachers, students, parents, and citizens as part of the educational community.

This exhibition aims to support schools in selecting various AI digital textbooks ahead of their adoption by allowing them to explore different AI digital textbooks, thereby promoting the stable establishment of AI digital textbooks in the field.

At this exhibition, demonstrations of 76 types of AI digital textbooks from 12 developers for English, Mathematics, and Information subjects targeting 3rd and 4th graders in elementary school, 1st graders in middle school, and 1st graders in high school, scheduled to be introduced in March this year, will be held along with developer-specific briefings.

This permanent exhibition, operating for two weeks, is expected to assist schools in selecting AI digital textbooks and support personalized learning opportunities tailored to each student's abilities and levels through the use of AI digital textbooks.

Acting Superintendent Choi Yoon-hong said, "This exhibition will provide great help in selecting AI digital textbooks by closely examining AI digital textbooks developed considering the characteristics of each subject," and added, "Through the use of AI digital textbooks, a new learning paradigm will be applied, leading to innovative changes in education. The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will do its best to support the stable introduction and utilization of AI digital textbooks."
