Ranking of Major Domestic Resorts by Public Interest
Yongpyong Resort and Gonjiam Resort Follow
Hanwha Resort, part of Hanwha Group, recorded the highest online interest among major domestic resorts over the past year. Yongpyong Resort and Gonjiam Resort followed.
Data & Research, a public opinion research agency, revealed on the 18th the interest levels of major domestic resorts based on data collected from 230,000 sites across 12 channels including news, communities, cafes, YouTube, blogs, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, KakaoStory, Knowledge iN, companies/organizations, and government/public sectors from January to December last year.
The survey subjects were selected arbitrarily. Ranked by information volume, they are ▲Hanwha Resort ▲Yongpyong Resort ▲Gonjiam Resort ▲Lotte Resort ▲Kensington Resort ▲Kumho Resort ▲Resom Resort ▲Oak Valley Resort ▲Muju Deogyusan Resort ▲Sol Beach Resort.
In this survey, Hanwha Resort ranked first in user interest within the domestic resort industry with a total online information volume of 67,642 cases. Yongpyong Resort came in second with 44,839 cases, and LG Group’s Gonjiam Resort ranked third with 43,387 cases. Following them, Lotte Group’s Lotte Resort ranked fourth with 42,098 cases, and E-Land Group’s Kensington Resort secured fifth place with 25,780 cases.
Kumho Resort of Kumho Petrochemical Group recorded 15,644 cases of information volume, ranking sixth. Others ranked as follows: ▲Hoban Group’s Resom Resort with 9,756 cases ▲Hansol Group’s Oak Valley Resort with 9,106 cases ▲Booyoung Group’s Muju Deogyusan Resort with 6,488 cases ▲Daemyung Sono Group’s Sol Beach Resort with 3,566 cases.
A representative from Data & Research stated, "The information volume for the 10 resorts increased by 31.07% compared to the same period in the previous year," adding, "Hanwha Resort has held the top position for two consecutive years."
