"It is time to change the branch's practices through a belated but proper reform."
On the 17th, Lee Chung-hoon, the 15th Chairman of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Changwon Branch in Gyeongnam, said this at his inauguration ceremony.

In his inaugural speech, the new branch chairman stated, "Our Changwon branch was shattered into pieces due to division over the years," and expressed his determination by saying, "I will make efforts to gather the scattered pieces into one."
He also added, "No matter what difficulties arise, I will overcome and fix them," and "As the captain steering the ship called Changwon branch, I will not waste time during my term."
Chairman Lee said, "During the election, I promised to create opportunities where senior members are respected and their dedication praised, as well as revolutionary branch reforms," adding, "This can only be achieved if all branch members unite and harmonize."
He emphasized, "If the applause and strength of the members combine with my will, our branch can transform into a prosperous branch and be reborn," and urged, "Please trust my will and practical ability, and lend your courage and strength."

Chairman Lee was elected in last year's 15th Changwon Branch Chairman election and began his four-year term on December 31 of the same year.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members and staff of the Senior Citizens Association Changwon Branch, Shin Hee-beom, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Federation of the Senior Citizens Association, and many other related officials.
Also present to offer congratulations were Ahn Jae-moon, Mayor of Uichang District Office; Jeong Gyu-heon, Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly member; Kwon Seong-hyun, Vice Chairman of Changwon City Council; city council members Kim Nam-su and Park Hae-jung; former Changwon City Deputy Mayor Lee Hyun-gyu; former Changwon City First Deputy Mayor Kim Seok-ki; and congratulatory messages were sent by National Assembly members Kim Jong-yang and Heo Seong-moo to celebrate the branch chairman's inauguration.
