According to Fox News on the 16th (local time), the joint interview with President Trump and Musk will air at 9 PM Eastern Time on the 18th (11 AM Korean time on the 19th). This is the first time the two have appeared together in a media interview. The pre-recorded interview will be broadcast on Fox News' weekday 9 PM fixed program, "Hannity." The interview will be conducted by Sean Hannity, a conservative journalist well known for his work.

The preview video released on the 14th showed President Trump dismissing criticisms from mainstream media and experts regarding his relationship with Musk.

Host Hannity mentioned to Musk that mainstream media and experts refer to him as "Elon Musk President" (implying that although he is not president, he wields power like one) and are trying to sow discord between the two. He then said, "They want you to hate each other," and asked, "Are you aware of such attempts?"

President Trump replied, "They always do that." He added, "In fact, Elon called me and said, 'They are trying to sow discord between us,' and I said, 'Definitely so.'"

President Trump also mocked such reports by imitating a news anchor. He said, "They do reports like, 'Breaking news: Donald Trump has transferred control of the presidency to Elon Musk. President Musk will attend a cabinet meeting at 8 PM tonight.'"

He continued, "It's so obvious. So pathetic," and said, "If they were capable, I wouldn't have become president." He also claimed, "I think no one in history has received more negative coverage than me."

Furthermore, Fox News introduced that this joint interview was aligned with the introduction of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)'s work and President Trump's plans for the first 100 days of his second term. Musk, as head of DOGE, is pushing for sweeping federal government reforms, including workforce reductions.
