Pusan National University Signs MOU with The Seed of Hope Foundation
to Expand Global Cooperation and Host International Academic Exchange Events

On the 17th, Pusan National University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen global cooperation with the U.S.-based NGO The Seed of Hope Foundation (SOH) at the first conference room on the 5th floor of the university headquarters.

At the signing ceremony, Rebekah Kim, SOH representative and chaplain at Harvard University, attended, and various cooperation plans such as joint research and project promotion were discussed.

In particular, from May 31 to June 5, more than 200 scholars, students, and researchers from prestigious Eastern universities such as Harvard University and MIT, as well as global companies like Google and Meta, are scheduled to visit Pusan National University to participate in academic and cultural exchange events.

President Choi Jaewon stated, “Through this agreement, we will further expand our international network and strengthen global cooperation to enhance Pusan National University’s international stature,” adding, “We will enhance the competitiveness of education and research through collaboration with world-renowned universities and institutions.”

After the signing ceremony, Rebekah Kim, SOH representative, gave a special lecture titled ‘What do you see?’ at the large auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Mechanical Engineering Building on campus, emphasizing the importance of mindset shifts and creative perspectives.
