Gwangju Seo-gu to Promote 400 Million Won 'Apartment Complex Support Project'

Applications Accepted from April 4 to 21 Next Month
Up to 35 Million KRW in Support per Complex

Seo-gu, Gwangju is implementing a "Multi-Family Housing Support Project" with a budget of 400 million KRW.

According to the district on the 17th, this project has been prepared to improve residents' housing welfare and to create a safe and pleasant environment in multi-family housing complexes.

The support targets are multi-family housing complexes in Seo-gu that have been in use for more than 10 years since their inspection date. The district will provide up to 35 million KRW per complex for the management of common facilities such as internal roads, security lights, senior citizen centers, and playground maintenance. However, rental housing complexes and complexes that have received support within the past two years are excluded.

Applications can be submitted from the 4th to the 21st of next month by preparing the required documents listed in the announcement section of the Seo-gu Office website and submitting them in person to the Housing Division of Seo-gu Office or by mail.

The district plans to select the recipient complexes in April after conducting on-site inspections and reviewing the appropriateness and scope of support for each applicant complex.

Yoon Okmin, head of the Housing Division, said, "Through the Multi-Family Housing Support Project, we will resolve safety concerns within complexes and create a safe residential environment," adding, "We will ensure thorough administrative guidance and management until the project is completed."

Meanwhile, Seo-gu is the only one among the five districts in Gwangju to select exemplary apartment complexes for outstanding management and provide up to 10 million KRW in support for management costs. The district plans to announce the evaluation criteria for selecting outstanding management complexes within this month as part of the 'Outstanding Multi-Family Housing Management Complex Selection Support Project.'
