Laying the Foundation for Global Expansion, Including the CIS Region
The Korea Venture Business Association and the Korean Trade Association for Koryo-saram (KTI) signed a memorandum of understanding on the 16th to support the global expansion of domestic ventures and startups and to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will establish cooperation measures including ▲providing and promoting information on global expansion support projects for ventures and startups ▲sharing global network information and jointly discovering demand companies for overseas market entry and investment attraction of ventures and startups ▲planning and promoting joint cooperation projects.
Founded in 2016 as a federation of Koryo-saram business clubs, KTI operates 12 branches in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and works toward forming an ethnic Korean economic community and promoting trade.
Lee Jeong-min, Secretary General of the Korea Venture Business Association, said, "This memorandum of understanding has laid the groundwork for domestic companies to enter global markets including the CIS region," adding, "We will continue to actively support the overseas expansion of ventures and startups by utilizing various global networks."
