Reborn as Seongnam's Largest Single-Brand Landmark Complex
Premium Design and High-End Materials Used
POSCO E&C has been finally selected as the construction company for the Seongnam Eunhaeng Jugong Reconstruction Project. On the 16th, at the general meeting held at Seongnam Indoor Gymnasium, POSCO E&C was chosen as the construction company with overwhelming support from 1,333 out of 1,834 union members.
The Seongnam Eunhaeng Jugong Apartment Reconstruction Project is a large-scale project with a total construction cost of approximately 1.3 trillion KRW. It consists of 39 buildings ranging from 6 basement floors to a maximum of 30 above-ground floors, with a total of 3,198 households. POSCO E&C proposed the complex name ‘The Sharp Masterview’ to transform this complex into Seongnam’s largest single-brand landmark complex.
To maximize livability, POSCO E&C applied various specialized designs. The exterior features POSMAC, POSCO’s premium steel material, adding a touch of luxury. Imported high-end finishing materials are used for the scenic double-glazed windows, ceramic kitchen countertops, and kitchen faucets, significantly enhancing the value of the complex. In particular, the ‘GRAND SLOPE’ design, which transforms the complex’s stepped zones into gentle slopes where water flows, received high praise from the union members.
POSCO E&C plans to minimize the union’s financial burden by raising 240 billion KRW of the project cost interest-free. Additionally, all profits from balcony options and the sale of demolition by-products will belong to the union, and POSCO E&C will provide support by swiftly processing the remaining permit procedures to reduce the union members’ contributions.
A POSCO E&C official stated, “We sincerely thank the union members for accepting POSCO E&C’s sincerity,” and added, “We will gather all the company’s technology and capabilities to repay the trust by creating the best luxury residential complex in Seongnam.”
Last year, POSCO E&C recorded the second-highest industry performance with urban maintenance project orders totaling 4.7 trillion KRW. Based on the recent order for the Seongnam Eunhaeng Jugong Apartment, the company plans to further expand orders in major project sites in Seoul and the metropolitan area, including Gangnam, Yongsan, and Seongsu.
