On Sunday the 16th, the sky will be hazy over most parts of the country due to dense fine dust.
The fine dust concentration in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, and Daegu·Gyeongbuk is forecasted to be 'bad', while other regions will be at 'moderate' levels. Jeonnam and Jeju areas will also show 'bad' levels at night.
In the morning, fine dust remaining mainly in the western regions and some southern inland areas, along with domestically generated fine dust, will stagnate and increase concentration.
In the afternoon, foreign fine dust will flow into most parts of the country, but clean northwesterly winds will come in at night, gradually clearing the fine dust starting from the Seoul metropolitan area.
The sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide but will gradually clear from the afternoon.
Jeju Island will receive 5 to 10 mm of rain until dawn, and 1 to 5 cm of snow is also forecasted in the mountainous areas. Northern Gyeonggi and northern inland Gangwon may experience raindrops less than 0.1 mm between morning and afternoon.
The morning low temperatures will range from -4 to 4 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be between 6 and 14 degrees Celsius, higher than usual.
