Strengthening Food Safety Assurance

Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk Province is recruiting participating companies for the 'Smart HACCP Establishment and Distribution Support Project' from the 13th to the 28th to enhance the safety of food manufacturers and improve the distribution system of processed foods.

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a food safety certification system that identifies and prevents potential hazards that may occur at all stages from raw materials to manufacturing, processing, preservation, distribution, and cooking of food.

Smart HACCP incorporates Internet of Things (IoT) technology to automate data collection, management, and analysis, creating an integrated management system that can further strengthen food safety.

Through this project, support will be provided for ▲establishing standard modules and automated equipment for the Smart HACCP system ▲installing transmission devices that collect data such as heating, washing, sterilization, and metal detection ▲optimizing the standard modules of the Smart HACCP system, with a maximum support limit of 5 million KRW per company (excluding 10% self-payment).

Eligible applicants are HACCP-certified food manufacturing and processing companies registered in Yeongju City. Companies wishing to apply should submit an application form to the Health and Hygiene Division of Yeongju City Public Health Center within the recruitment period. The city plans to select target companies through document screening and review by the Yeongju City Subsidy Management Committee.
