Jeongeup City Recruiting 290 Lifelong Learning Center Students

18 Courses Including Liberal Arts... Tuition Fee 30,000 Won

The Jeongeup City Lifelong Learning Center in North Jeolla Province is recruiting 290 students for the first half of 2025.


According to the city on the 12th, this recruitment covers a total of 18 courses in areas such as vocational skills, culture and arts, and liberal arts. Any resident of Jeongeup can apply.

To enhance citizens' expertise and practical skills, the city is offering certification courses. These include: ▲Calligraphy Instructor ▲Shinbakhan Jeongrisunap (Jeongrisunap Specialist) ▲Correct Body Posture Instructor (Evening) ▲Cognitive Play (Dementia Prevention) Specialist ▲Drawing Saju with Pictures (Evening) ▲Picture Book Art Therapy Counselor ▲Brain Cognitive Board Game Specialist Course.


In the field of culture and arts, the following courses are available: ▲Colored Pencil Drawing (Evening) ▲Beginner Woodworking (Evening) ▲Pop Art Portraits (Evening) ▲Sports Dance ▲Ukulele (Evening) ▲Ceramic Art (Evening). These are expected to be great opportunities for citizens who wish to develop their artistic sensibilities.


The liberal arts courses are also diverse. Programs that are useful in daily life include: ▲Smartphone & Kiosk Utilization (New, Evening) ▲Tarot Reading (New) ▲Understanding and Practicing Drones (Evening) ▲Real Estate Auction (Evening) ▲Home Cafe Dessert Cooking (Evening).


Applications can be submitted either online or in person. Online registration is available until the 14th through the integrated reservation system on the city hall website. In-person registration will take place from the 17th to the 21st at the Lifelong Learning Center's first-floor office.


Classes will begin on the 4th of next month and run for 15 weeks until the end of June. The tuition fee is 30,000 won per course, with textbooks and material costs charged separately.


A city official stated, "We plan to offer a variety of programs that reflect citizens' needs in line with changing times," and added, "As classes will be held in various practice rooms, we ask for your keen interest."
