Seoul Jungnambu AI Business Cooperative announced on the 12th that it held its first regular general meeting and officially launched at the Intelvix headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 11th. Choi Eun-soo, CEO of Intelvix, was appointed as the inaugural chairman.
The AI Cooperative, Korea's first artificial intelligence (AI) cooperative, plans to develop industrial AI exclusively for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and carry out various activities necessary to improve management efficiency and productivity of SMEs. Specifically, it will support ▲ joint development and dissemination of AI technology ▲ AI transition consulting ▲ joint purchasing and joint facility construction ▲ AI education and information provision ▲ AI-based governance establishment.

In the future, the cooperative plans to focus on integrating AI technology into various industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and services to maximize productivity in traditional industries and develop AI-based collaborative business models. Additionally, it will strengthen cooperation with domestic and international AI companies and government agencies to establish policy governance and create a support system that enables SMEs wishing to adopt AI to utilize the technology more stably.
Chairman Choi said, "Most SMEs face difficulties in utilizing AI due to a lack of AI specialists and challenges in technology adoption," adding, "The AI Cooperative will faithfully serve as a bridge connecting companies with AI technological capabilities and traditional SMEs to support the digital innovation of SMEs."
