Yeongdeok-gun Education Development Committee Successfully Completes Metropolitan Area Boarding Academy Consignment Education

Support Provided to 38 Prospective First to Third-Year High School Students Over Five Weeks of Winter Vacation

The Gyeongbuk Yeongdeok-gun Education Development Committee successfully concluded the 'Metropolitan Area Dormitory Academy Consignment Education Support Project' on the 11th, which provides opportunities to enhance learning abilities for local students from prospective high school freshmen to third-year students with excellent academic performance.

Since 2016, this project has been conducted annually for five weeks during the winter vacation. It is a key initiative promoted by the Yeongdeok-gun Education Development Committee, playing a role in helping local students broaden their perspectives and cultivate their learning abilities.

Kim Gwang-yeol (Mayor of Yeongdeok-gun), the chairman, explained, “The project is implemented with the purpose of providing more learning experiences so that the winter vacation becomes a new opportunity for students to leap forward.” He added, “We will continue to discover and implement various educational programs and support projects that can nurture the potential of local students to meet the expectations of residents thirsty for educational opportunities.”
