MPAGE, a digital sheet music platform operator, announced on the 12th that it has been finally selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Post-TIPS' support program. Post-TIPS is a program that selects startups with excellent research and development achievements among TIPS graduates, a representative public-private joint startup fostering program by the Ministry, and supports their entry into the global market. MPAGE was selected after a rigorous screening process and will receive up to 500 million KRW in government funding over the next 18 months.

MPAGE operates global digital sheet music platforms connecting music creators and users worldwide, including 'MyMusicSheet (Global)', 'Maeummaneun Pianist (Korea)', and 'Kokoro wa Musician (Japan)'. These platforms feature the ability for music creators, composers, and musicians to directly sell sheet music of various genres such as the latest pop songs, OSTs, and original compositions.

Operating its own corporate research institute and focusing on AI music technology research and development, MPAGE was recognized for its outstanding research achievements in developing sheet music recognition technology and deep learning-based real-time pitch recognition technology, leading to its selection for Post-TIPS.

MPAGE plans to focus on advancing AI technology that precisely recognizes performances of various instruments, including the piano. Additionally, to overcome the limitations of existing sound recognition AI technology, which was weak in detailed expression of performances, the company intends to develop models with high accuracy that can understand the characteristics of music data.
