Forum Highlights Outstanding Cases of ESG University Innovation
in Collaboration with the Local Community
On the afternoon of the 10th, Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held the "5th PKNU Educational Innovation Performance Forum" at the Future Hall, Somin Hall.
Hosted by the Office of Educational Innovation (Director Won Yong-seon), Pukyong National University organized this event to share and spread outstanding cases of educational innovation achievements and community-linked innovation cases.
The forum, themed "Excellent Cases of ESG University Innovation with the Local Community," featured seven presentations by professors, staff, teaching assistants, and students, focusing on sustainable development for both the university and the local community.
The presentations included "Wise Exploration of Mulmangol" (Song Jin-young, Political Editor of The International Newspaper), "Understanding the Regional Bioindustry and Advanced Design of Community Problem-Solving Programs Linked to PBL" (Professor Lee Jong-min, Department of Biotechnology), "Realizing One-Stop Administrative Services for PKNU International Students" (Seok Ah-ra, Officer of the International Exchange Department), "The Footsteps of University Students’ Educational Donation: 'What Does Educational Donation Mean to Me?'" (Moon Jun-hyuk, Major in Applied Life Sciences), "Legal Support Activities for Socially Vulnerable Groups" (Park Chan-joo, Department of Law), "Plan Your Excitement: The 1st Multi-Major Night" (Chae Ji-han, Global Interdisciplinary Major), and "Action Plan Based on the 2025 Educational Performance Analysis Results" (Heo Hye-min, Researcher at the Center for Educational Competency Innovation).
The Office of Educational Innovation at Pukyong National University is a newly established organization aimed at improving the quality of student education and enhancing educational outcomes. It continuously promotes educational innovation through hosting forums, revising and managing the quality of undergraduate curricula and extracurricular programs, supporting teaching and learning, and analyzing and feeding back educational outcomes. In connection with the Glocal and RISE projects, it strives to foster sustainable development in collaboration between the university and the local community.
