Sales Revenue Reaches 4.4836 Trillion KRW, Up 2.8% Year-on-Year
Portfolio Diversification in Ready Meals, Seasonings, and Beverages Proves Effective
Dongwon F&B announced on the 11th through a public disclosure that its consolidated financial statements showed a tentative sales revenue of 4.4836 trillion KRW for last year, an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous year. Operating profit during the same period rose 10.0% to 183.5 billion KRW, and net profit also increased by 15.8% to 126 billion KRW.
On a separate basis, last year's sales revenue reached 2.0432 trillion KRW, up 2.7% from the previous year, and operating profit recorded 113.6 billion KRW, an increase of 18.5%. The company explained that increased sales of tuna extract and holiday gift sets, along with stable sales growth in the home meal replacement (HMR), beverage, and dairy product sectors, were key factors. In particular, operating profit from overseas exports increased by more than 50% compared to the previous year, contributing to improved profitability.
Subsidiary and B2B comprehensive food company Dongwon Home Food also led performance improvements. Dongwon Home Food's group meal service business showed double-digit growth, and its seasoning food business recorded stable growth with increased domestic and international sales centered on the low-sugar, low-calorie sauce specialty brand ‘Vivid Kitchen’.
A Dongwon F&B representative said, "We achieved solid performance through improved profitability in overseas exports and growth of our subsidiary Dongwon Home Food," adding, "We will enhance the competitiveness of existing businesses through active research and development (R&D) and establish mid- to long-term strategies to expand our number one products."
