At the floor strategy meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Floor Leader Park said, "The Myeong Tae-gyun Gate, the root of the secret regime manipulation involving Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Geon-hee, which manipulated public opinion and elections, is pointed out as the direct cause and background of the December 3rd martial law." He added, "Former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun testified to the prosecution that President Yoon mentioned intervention in candidate nominations and that emergency measures were necessary," and mentioned, "There is also a claim that Myeong Tae-gyun himself said President Yoon declared martial law because he was 'scared' due to the golden phone."

Floor Leader Park said, "It is known that the golden phone of Myeong Tae-gyun contains various evidence of candidate nomination interference and state manipulation by the couple Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Geon-hee," and added, "They lie absurdly that it was to prevent the opposition party's violence, but it is more fitting that it was to prevent their own couple's crimes from being exposed to the public."

He also raised issues regarding the prosecution's investigation. He pointed out, "According to the Myeong Tae-gyun investigation report prepared by the prosecution on November 4th, it was clearly revealed that the couple Kim Geon-hee and Yoon Seok-yeol were closely connected with Myeong through public opinion polls as intermediaries, but even after securing the golden phone, which is key evidence, the prosecution has not properly investigated." He continued, "Regarding manipulation during the People Power Party's presidential primary, violations of the Political Funds Act, and illegal candidate nomination interference, nothing has been clearly revealed, and no lawmakers involved in candidate nomination interference have been summoned at all."

Floor Leader Park questioned, "Why did President Yoon, the ringleader of the insurrection, cause the December 3rd insurrection incident?" and added, "Isn't it because he knew well that he could not avoid punishment if the truth of the Myeong Tae-gyun Gate were revealed? Could it be that the People Power Party lawmakers' madness and delusions that destroy common sense are also because they fear their illegal and unfair acts will be exposed?"

He said, "We must uncover what illegal and wrongful acts, which should not be revealed to the world, led to even an insurrection, to fully reveal the December 3rd insurrection, that is, to establish the natural principle that if one commits a crime, one must be punished. For this, the Myeong Tae-gyun Special Prosecutor Act is inevitable." He then stated, "The Democratic Party will ensure that the Myeong Tae-gyun Special Prosecutor Act is passed within February."
