Comprehensive Support for Post-Launch Management
Muan County, Jeonnam (Governor Kim San) announced on the 10th that it is recruiting prospective and current entrepreneurs to participate in the Startup Support Program for Product Development and Sales Experience (Food) through Funding until the 7th of next month.
The Startup Support Program for Product Development and Sales Experience (Food) through Funding aims to discover promising companies and create indirect employment by supporting the development of processed agricultural and marine products using Muan County's specialty products, facilitating pre-order and post-production (funding), enabling low-capital startups and capital acquisition, and improving product competitiveness to promote mutual growth with local producers.
This year's program will support 11 participants. After recruiting participants, consulting on preliminary business participation and education for product commercialization will be provided, and then the final startup support recipients will be selected through a screening process.
Applicants must be either prospective entrepreneurs residing in Muan County aged 18 or older, or existing entrepreneurs with annual sales of less than 300 million KRW as of 2024. Selected participants will receive up to 3.6 million KRW per person for prototype development, and will later receive product improvement consulting and additional funding support of 3.5 million KRW to facilitate online sales.
Governor Kim San stated, "The funding startup support program has consistently produced results by increasing the added value of local agricultural products and helping entrepreneurs successfully settle in the online market," adding, "We will spare no effort to support entrepreneurs so they can establish themselves in the market with stability."
