Gwangju National University Successfully Holds Korean Language Contest for International Students

Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 10th that it successfully held the closing ceremony for the 2024 second semester Korean language training course and the Korean Language Contest on the 5th.

This contest was organized to motivate foreign students by allowing them to compete in their Korean language skills. The event also encouraged students' efforts by awarding outstanding participants.

In the Korean Language Contest, students Leuong Quoc Nhat, Nguyen Ngoc Tinh, and Le Van Dong took first to third place, respectively. The winners received a Polaroid camera for first place, Sony wireless headphones for second place, and an Adidas backpack for third place.

Ki-Pyo Lee, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, stated, "I would like to congratulate all the students who have worked hard to learn Korean," and added, "We will continue to operate various educational programs for international students and strive for the advancement of Korean language education."
