The arrival of these training teams is expected not only to boost various sectors such as lodging, restaurants, and local shops, but also to have a positive impact on the increase of the resident population.

Thanks to the county's proactive efforts to attract off-season training teams, Jindo County expects to generate approximately 2 billion KRW in economic benefits during the winter, which is typically a slow season.

In particular, Jindo boasts a mild climate even in winter and is fully equipped with modern sports facilities such as an indoor track and field training center, soccer fields, indoor gymnasiums, and a weight training center. The area is also popular among training teams for its delicious and fresh local cuisine.

In addition, as part of its sports marketing strategy, the county offers a variety of benefits including support for accommodation and meal costs, discounts on public sports facility fees, free admission to tourist attractions, and transportation support, all of which are increasing the satisfaction of visiting training teams.

Governor Kim Heesu stated, “We welcome all off-season training teams visiting Jindo County and hope that their training here will greatly help them achieve their goals. Moving forward, we will continue to actively attract more training teams from various sports to further revitalize the local economy through vigorous sports marketing.”
