Operation of 'Address Information Facility Safety Report Center'
Including Road Name Signs, Building Number Plates, and Object Address Plates
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th that it is operating the 'Address Information Facility Safety Report Center,' which receives reports from citizens about old or damaged address information facilities and maintains them.
The targets for reporting are facilities within the city such as ▲road name signs ▲building number plates ▲basic number plates ▲object address plates ▲national point number plates that are either at risk of causing public safety accidents or are old and detract from the urban landscape.
By submitting photos of the target facilities through the 'Address Information Facility Safety Report Center' menu on the Gyeonggi Real Estate Portal, reporters can receive text message updates on the processing results.
Within Pyeongtaek City, a total of 71,332 address information facilities are installed, including 10,136 road name signs, 60,206 building number plates, and 607 basic number plates. Last year, the city replaced about 5,000 related facilities through its own maintenance efforts and reports received via the 'Address Information Facility Safety Report Center.'
