"Further Strengthening the Combined Defense Posture"
The USS Alexandria, a nuclear-powered submarine (SSN) of the United States Navy, arrived at Busan Naval Base on the 10th.
According to the Navy, the USS Alexandria docked at Busan Naval Base on the same day for resupply and crew rest. This is the first time the USS Alexandria has entered a domestic port.
The Navy stated, "With the arrival of the USS Alexandria, we plan to enhance exchange and cooperation between the South Korean and U.S. navies and further strengthen the combined defense posture."
Meanwhile, the USS Alexandria is a Los Angeles-class submarine, measuring 110 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and displacing about 6,000 tons.
