Boryeong City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 10th that it is accepting applications for the Chungnam Province Farmer and Fisherman Allowance from local farmers and fishermen.
Eligible applicants must have maintained their resident registration and agricultural or fishery business registration in Chungnam Province from before January 1, 2024, until the date of final selection, and must be actually engaged in farming or fishing.
However, those whose total non-agricultural and non-fishery comprehensive income exceeded 37 million KRW in 2023, or those who violated laws related to agriculture, livestock (environment), forestry, or fisheries and received a confirmed disposition in the previous year but have not fulfilled such dispositions (such as paying fines) by the date of final selection, are excluded.
Those wishing to apply can do so at the administrative welfare center of their registered address until April 18.
The payment amount is 800,000 KRW for households with one eligible person, and 450,000 KRW per person for households with two or more eligible persons. The city plans to provide the payment in Boryeong Sarang Gift Certificates by September.
