Join the 1 Night 2 Days 'Powerful Cheongnyeon Job Camp'... Daegu City Selects 40 Youths

Daegu City is recruiting young job seekers who wish to participate in the ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp’ held for two days from the 27th to the 28th at Hotel Azelia in Dalseong-gun to strengthen their employment capabilities.

The ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp’ program differs from existing employment camps by adopting a hackathon format, focusing on developing the ability to prepare for employment independently over a 1-night, 2-day period.

At the ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp,’ participants will complete self-introduction letters, practice interview answers and speeches, prepare job applications, participate in group interview simulation mock interview hackathons, and compete in mock interview contests.

This year, the ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp’ plans to select 40 participants. Those wishing to participate can apply through the Daegu Job Portal by uploading their resume and self-introduction letter by the 24th.

The ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp’ is conducted as part of Daegu’s customized youth employment support service project.

This project offers programs such as a ‘1-night, 2-day employment camp’ for young job seekers unemployed for more than two years after graduation, ‘visits to five major local new industry companies,’ ‘1-on-1 matching with employment experts and support from employment moderators,’ and a ‘Town Hall Meeting with HR managers’ from excellent local companies, city-invested and affiliated institutions, and local public enterprises.

Park Ki-hwan, Director of the Daegu City Economic Bureau, said, “I hope that local youth who will lead Daegu’s future will participate in the ‘Powerful Youth Job Camp’ to develop the ability to prepare for employment independently and that networking activities among participants will provide an opportunity to strengthen the employment competitiveness of local youth.”
