Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 7th that Kim Kyung-hwan, CEO of MJ Industry located in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, donated 10 million KRW to the university development fund.

On the 6th, a donation ceremony for the development fund was held at the Shilla University headquarters, attended by President Heo Nam-sik, MJ Industry CEO Kim Kyung-hwan, Shilla University Alumni Association President Choi Soon-hee, and Advisor Ha Bae-jin.
Kim Kyung-hwan, CEO of MJ Industry and a graduate of Shilla University's Department of Management Information Systems, donated 10 million KRW to support the university's development toward the next 100 years and to help juniors receive education in a comfortable environment and successfully enter society.
Founded in 2024, MJ Industry manufactures electrical carbon products and insulation products. The company has been recognized as an excellent job provider in Gimhae City for its outstanding employment performance, improvement of worker welfare, sound corporate management, and social contributions that contribute to regional development.
CEO Kim Kyung-hwan said, “Alumni, including the Alumni Association President, are making great efforts to form a broad network,” and added, “I will take a greater interest in the university’s development together with alumni who are actively working in various fields of society.”
Shilla University President Heo Nam-sik said, “I am very grateful that our university alumni have shown interest in the development of the school,” and added, “Starting from today, I hope alumni will take the lead in providing significant support for the university’s development.”
